PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA AND DATA PROTECTION
Data must be collected and processed only when absolutely necessary. We hate spam as much as you do! We never sell, rent, or distribute your personal information in any other way or disclose it.
PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED BY THIS WEBSITE AND WHY WE COLLECT IT
This website collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:
1. Monitoring Visits
Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to monitor user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our website, to better understand how they find and use our web pages, and to see their path within the site.
While GA records data such as geographic location, device, internet browsing program, and your operating system, none of this information personally identifies you. GA also records your computer’s IP address, which could be used for your personal identification, but Google does not provide us access to it. We consider Google to be executing the processing.
GA uses cookies, details of which can be found in Google’s developer guides. Our website uses the GA analytics.js application.
Disabling cookies in your internet browser will prevent GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages on this website.
OUR ONLINE STORE
If you choose to place orders for products through our online store, the name and email address, along with any other details you provide during registration, will be stored in the database of this website. This includes your computer’s IP address, as well as the date and time you placed the order. This information is used only for the purpose of shipping your order and is not transferred to any third parties responsible for processing, as described in detail below.
OUR BLOG
If you choose to add a comment to any posts we publish on our blog, the name and email address you enter with your comment will be stored in the database of this website. This includes your computer’s IP address, along with the date and time you submitted the comment. This information is used only to identify you as a contributor to the comments section of the respective blog post and is not transferred to any third parties responsible for processing, as described in detail below. Only your name will be displayed on the site visible to the public.
Your comment and associated personal data will remain on this website until 1) you delete the comment or 2) we remove the blog post. If you wish to have your comment and associated personal data deleted, please contact us using the email address you used to comment.
If you are under 16 years of age, you MUST obtain parental consent before posting a comment on our blog.
NOTE: Avoid including personal information in the comment field on this website.
CONTACT FORMS AND EMAIL LINKS
If you choose to contact us using the contact form on the “Contact Us” page or an email link, none of the data you provide will be stored by this website or submitted for processing by any of the processors described in detail in section 6.0 below. Instead, the data will be forwarded to us via the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). Our SMTP servers are protected by TLS (sometimes known as SSL), meaning that the email content is encrypted using SHA-2, 256-bit cryptography before being sent across the internet. The email content is then decrypted by our local computers and devices. Additionally, our email platform is hosted by Microsoft using Office 365, which is fully compliant with GDPR.
EMAIL NEWSLETTER
If you choose to participate in our email newsletter, the email address you submit will be forwarded to MailerLite, which provides us with email marketing services. We consider MailerLite to be a processor executing the processing (see section 6.0 below). The email address you submit will not be stored in the database of this website or any of our internal computer systems.
Your email address will remain in the MailerLite database for as long as we continue to use MailerLite’s services for email marketing or until you explicitly request removal from the list. You can do this by using the unsubscribe links contained in any of the email newsletters we send you, as well as in any promotional emails you receive from us.
If you are under 16 years of age, you MUST obtain parental consent before subscribing to our email newsletter.
While your email address remains in the MailerLite database, you will receive periodic (approximately once a month) email newsletters from us.
HOW WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
As detailed in the previous section, if you submit a comment on a blog post published on this website, some personal information will be stored in the database of this site. Additionally, if you decide to purchase any of the products available in our e-shop, you will need to create a user account. These data are currently stored in an identifiable manner, a limitation of the content management system on which this website is based. In the near future, we will strive to change the storage of this data by using pseudonymization. This means that the data would require additional processing using a separately stored “key” before they can be used to identify an individual.
Pseudonymization is a recent requirement of GDPR that many web application developers are currently working on implementing. We are committed to maintaining it as a high priority and will implement it on this website as soon as possible.
In case you do not make regular purchases from us, we will proceed to delete your account after 2 years from your last purchase. In any case, you can recreate an account during your next purchase and during the checkout process.

Through the “GDPR Tools” section of our website, individuals have the following rights over the data we collect:
